Description ↑↓

Aloha & welcome to The Copper Cup. Warm & comfortable like a copper cup, this cozy non-smoking studio is close to the action and yet a very relaxing & rather romantic place to stay if you are coming up to enjoy Brian Head. After a day of skiing, fishing, or enjoying the mountains, come home to building 1 of the Copper Chase Condominiums where the beautiful pool & hot tub in the glass topped atrium are located. The main lobby, work out room, & laundry are just steps away. Park under the building and take the elevator up to your welcoming retreat: no long hall ways to navigate. Chill out on the couch in your living area with a book or enjoy the large flat screen TV above the fireplace/heater or connect to WIFI.

Whip up tasty food with pretty much everything you need in the small but efficient kitchen. Enjoy each other's company over a romantic meal and perhaps a glass of something at the dining table. Try coco or a toddy in the copper cups. Don't feel like cooking? Order a pizza & salad and pick it up less than 5 minutes away.

A queen Tempurpedic bed eases aches and a Himalayan salt crystal lamp exudes those healthy negative ions to mellow your nights, inviting those relaxing zzz's. In the morning you can start your day with the Hawaiian coffee in the freezer (We are from Hawaii so we like to share some aloha with our guests.) During the day, your view is toward the Copper Chase meadow, the Navajo lift and red rocks beyond. In the winter, you can ski out this way and catch the shuttle back or navigate up 2 little hills to come back on skis. If you drive, you are less than 5 minutes to any of the lifts. In the summer, the Copper Chase meadow sports its large fire pit, tether ball & badminton/volley ball net.

Though you have pretty much everything you need to make you comfortable in your own zone, you are just above the main lounge with its big fireplace, foosball table & TV if you are in the mood to spread out or socialize.

The Copper Cup is a really a romantic retreat for two but if you have 1 or 2 children with you, there is a new queen hide-a-bed in the sofa and a great family time can be enjoyed by all. There are games in the cupboard. The kids will love the pool, and you will love the price. The nightly rate is for up to 2 people. Additional guests are $15/night per person up to 4 guests total.

We just love being up In Brain Head in the winter & in the summer. It is beautiful and unpretentious. There are a number of restaurants close by. There are 2 little grocery stores on the mountain too. When you book with us, we send you tips to help you plan & enjoy your trip. Aside from great snow for skiers and boarders, great prices on lift tickets and small to nonexistent lift lines, the Brian Head Resort also has tubing parks in the winter. Snowmobile rentals and tours are also offered in the town. In the summer, the sightseeing, fishing, hiking, biking & ATVing are some of the best you can get. Stunning Cedar Breaks monument is within 10 minutes. The resort at Brian Head is now offering zip lines, water slides, archery and Frisbee golf in the summer. With a great little base like The Copper Cup with its amenities & location, book now & enjoy some Hawaiian hospitality in fabulous, homey Brian Head!

Of course we were there in the “off season” but it was very quiet and restful. After three days in the road we appreciated that fact! The unit was well appointed and had everything we needed. Even enjoyed the afternoon snows each day! Would recommend this stay to anyone! 05/01/2019 at 12:54 PM

Nice place. You can ski in and out. There is a spa and pool with sauna that is just downstairs and very convenient. There is BBQ outside the pool and on the front which is working great. The only downside is when we came the pool had a misbalance with chemicals and the water was cloudy. It was ready to use the next day, but I think too many chemicals were added because our swimwear was all discolored and changed colors, but this is somethig that you can’t really controll. As far as food. The pizza place was very average, but Thai food was just amazing. Im surprised that the pizza place can’t get their pizzas taste better. The condo istelf was clean and warm and had everything we needed. Make sure you bring your own salt, oil etc. if you forget something the local small store has a few things. Overall it was our first time in Brian Head and we were blessed with great snow and had a nice stay. We got lucky to get a space in the garage. Just FYI we had a 8 years old daugther with us and the sleeper sofa worked fine for her if your kids are older it might not be too comfy cause the matress is not that great, in that case if your kids are heavier you might want to bring an air matress and use that instead. 02/24/2019 at 3:43 AM

We had a great time in Brian Head at this cozy little rental situated perfectly close to the Navajo ski lift. There was a small discrepancy worth noting because we literally had to stop and check the posting when we walked in. While it states studio on the VRBO site, the rental agreement has 1 bed, 1 bath listed so we were a bit taken aback when we walked in as we were looking at those emails most of the time instead of at the VRBO site. There are a few house rules that were important to read if you want warm water and with four warm bodies, we didn’t have a need to use the heater although we did run the mini fireplace for the ambiance. The feel of the condo makes it seem like you’ve stepped back a decade or so but everything was functional and useful. The silverware drawer did jump out at us though haha. Because there were four of us, we did use the sofa bed which has probably seen better days. I actually thought it broke when we pulled it out because the mechanism seemed like it was in the wrong place but it went back in without any issues when we put it away (we left it pulled out during our stay). The ski out area is perfect if you have skis. We ended up walking down to the lodge because we didn’t realize we could call the shuttle to the condos to get a ride down the mountain. The free shuttles are awesome for getting back to the condo or in going between the Navajo side and Giant Steps. We went skiing, snow tubing, and snowshoeing while we were there. Personal preference is that snow tubing at Navajo is better. The views are gorgeous at the top of the hill. The elevator was broken while we were there but we were okay with that. It’s super nice to have the car in the garage outside of the elements if we needed anything. The hot tub got plenty of use during our stay and seemed to be the place to go to see everyone after hours. It was so nice and relaxing after a cold day on the mountain. We hope to visit Brian Head again. 02/16/2019 at 2:10 AM

Coppercup was the perfect place for my wife and i. Location was great and just the right atmosphere for the two of us. Snow was awesome during our stay. Skied out and walked in. The hill was not to bad and free shuttle was always an option. 01/24/2019 at 1:25 AM

We loved staying here. This condo had everything we needed. The scenery was beautiful. It was nice to sit in the hot tub after a day of hiking in Bryce Canyon. The owners have made this condo a lovely home away from home. Would stay again. 11/13/2018 at 7:32 PM
Enjoyed our stay. Would like to return in the spring.

The condo was very nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. Very close to everything that we wanted to do during our four days in Southern Utah. The town needs a larger grocery store. We will return to Brian Head for sure. 07/22/2018 at 5:38 PM

I was pleased to find this place very close and affordable within Ski resort. My daughter and I had a plan for three days skiing. Overall experience is very nice, well equipped kitchen. Even though its a studio apartment and having a small kitchen, it was worth in compare to the price. There are some scope of improving few things: – communication: * It will be really helpful if the details of the property and pass code can sent couple of days back or at least one day back. I got it while driving the car and had a network issue to retrieve the details when we reached there at night 10 pm. I had to call both Cynthia and Suzanne. Suzanne was kind enough to guide me in on phone. * Providing some local help line would be good in the communication. At least the house keeping contact in the email. The room has some board games too. We enjoyed playing Monopoly 🙂 Thanks again for the arrangement. Hope will visit again next year
