Fantastic Christmas Trip

We usually go to Canada for the holidays, but with Covid we had to find something closer. We are so happy we stayed at the Aloha Bear property. It was cozy, neat, and just what we were hoping for. Our kids loved it so much and thought it was just like our normal ski cabin. The ski hills are a very short 3min drive away, as well the sledding and skating areas. We loved the fireplace, the kids loved their own room with bunk beds downstairs, and the portable heater kept them warm. The skiing was great for us and the kids loved all the other snow activities. We had 6” of great powder during our stay. The only negatives (which were very minor) were that the kitchen counter could have been a bit cleaner. There was a bit of crumbs and crud on the one side and an old sponge in the sink. The kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs except for no mixing bowels. We cook a ton with the kiddos, so mattered to us but may not matter at all to someone else. There is a small handheld vacuum but we couldn’t get it to work. The other vacuum cleaner worked well. None of the above issues affected our vacation at all, just noting them for others. We would 100% rent this place again for our family vacation. LOVED IT.
